Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s SHEQ management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in line with OHS Act and environmental laws.
- Perform regular workplace inspections, audits, and safety meetings, reporting findings to management.
- Facilitate and maintain training programs on safety, emergency response, PPE usage, and quality compliance.
- Maintain accurate SHEQ documentation and support internal/external ISO audits.
- Lead non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture, product quality, and efficiency.
- Communicate SHEQ performance through reports, toolbox talks, and quality reviews.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with SABS, Department of Labour, and Environmental Affairs regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Additional qualification in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) is essential.
- 3–5 years’ experience in industrial and Quality Management systems.
- Knowledge of OHS Act, environmental regulations, SANS standards, and ISO 9001/14001/45001.
- Experience in risk assessment, emergency preparedness, chemical management, MS Office, and document control.
- Strong analytical, report writing, communication, and training skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

- Salary: R15,000 per month
