Job Purpose:
To maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the workplace or residence, and assist with basic office hospitality tasks to ensure a safe, organized, and pleasant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, floors, windows, bathrooms, and other common areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required.
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to hygiene and environmental standards.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Prepare and serve coffee/tea for meetings and daily office use.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms, including arranging chairs, tables, and presentation materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform other cleaning or support duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous cleaning or domestic work experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of coffee-making and preparing for office meetings is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Physically fit for manual cleaning tasks.
- Punctual, trustworthy, and professional.
Remuneration & Application
- Salary: R5,500 per month
- Working Hours: 07:00 – 16:00
